Our New Energy Compact Substation, also known as a photovoltaic step‑up substation or PCS turnkey integrated unit, is specifically designed for solar farms, battery energy storage systems (BESS), wind power plants, and other renewable energy applications. Unlike conventional distribution substations, this unit combines a step‑up transformer (oil‑immersed or dry‑type), high‑voltage switchgear, low‑voltage distribution panel, and an optional bidirectional power conversion system (PCS) into a single, fully enclosed enclosure.


The substation accepts low‑voltage AC output from PV inverters or from battery storage systems via a PCS, and steps it up to medium voltage levels such as 10kV, 20kV, 33kV, 35kV, or 66kV for direct grid interconnection. It also supports reverse power flow for battery charging, making it ideal for peak shaving, load shifting, frequency regulation, and renewable smoothing.
