BESS Step Up Transformer
The TSTY energy storage converter and step‑up integrated unit is a factory‑prefabricated, compact substation designed specifically for battery energy storage systems (BESS). It integrates a bidirectional power conversion system (PCS), a step‑up transformer (dry‑type or oil‑immersed), high‑voltage switchgear, low‑voltage distribution, communication and auxiliary power, and a protective enclosure into a single, fully tested assembly. Available in European, American, and Huashi (Chinese) configurations, this unit efficiently stores green energy from solar or wind power and, when required, converts DC battery power into grid‑compliant AC and steps it up to medium voltage (10kV or 35kV) for stable transmission to the grid. It effectively mitigates the intermittent and volatile nature of renewable energy generation, improving energy efficiency and grid stability.
