Core Design Features
High Efficiency Design:
Utilizes high-permeability silicon steel or optional amorphous core, achieving over 20% lower no-load loss than Egyptian standard requirements.
Optimized load loss, meeting IE3 efficiency class (IEC 60076-14).
Enhanced Environmental Adaptability:
Tank features dual anti-corrosion treatment (sandblasting + multi-layer baking paint), suitable for Egypt's desert climate with large diurnal temperature variations and dusty conditions.
Fully sealed design prevents oil oxidation and moisture ingress, ensuring a maintenance-free period of up to 10 years.
Equipped with pressure relief valve, oil level gauge, and oil temperature gauge with alarm contacts.
Industrial Suitability:
Reinforced mechanical structure withstands common voltage fluctuations and short-term overloads in the Egyptian grid.
Low-voltage side uses high-strength copper busbars for direct connection to distribution panels.
Design considers mixed industrial load characteristics (motors, lighting, heating equipment).
Safety & Reliability:
Built-in pressure relief device ensures safe, directional pressure release during faults.
Insulating oil complies with IEC 60296 standard, featuring high flash point for enhanced safety.
All exposed bolts are made of stainless steel to prevent corrosion.
Project Execution
Project Timeline: 14 weeks (from order confirmation to on-site commissioning)
Key Milestones:
Site Survey: Engineers visited the site to assess installation environment, civil works, and line conditions.
Customized Production: Adjusted insulation design and testing requirements per Egyptian EOS standards.
Joint Commissioning: Collaborated with the local power utility for HV connection and protection setting.
Testing & Certification:
Full routine tests completed before shipment (ratio, impedance, no-load/load, dielectric strength).
Provided type test reports compliant with Egyptian ERA requirements.
Included bilingual operation manuals (Arabic/English).
Operational Results
Rapid Power Supply: Installation and commissioning of all three units completed within three weeks, enabling 12 new enterprises to receive production power one month ahead of schedule.
Stable Operation: Zero failures since commissioning. Average load factor: 65-80%, with oil temperature rise consistently below limits.
Significant Energy Savings: Compared to existing transformers in the park, each unit is estimated to save approximately 3,500 kWh annually.
Easy Maintenance: Local electricians can perform routine inspections after simple training.
Client Benefits
Cost-Effective: Pole-mounted installation saves land and foundation costs, reducing initial investment.
Rapid Deployment: Standardized design combined with local installation teams significantly shortens power supply lead times.
Long-Term Reliability: Reinforced version specifically designed for Egypt's climate ensures stable long-term operation under harsh conditions.
Energy Compliance: Meets Egypt's latest energy efficiency regulations, supporting clients' sustainability goals.
Flexible Scalability: Modular design supports future capacity expansion or relocation as load grows.
